Registration of your details
Like most employers, the UMCG needs to register your personal details such as your address, age, bank account number, etc. Your data will be handled with the utmost care. The UMCG works with all kinds of information: personal details, company details, research data, etc. All this information must be handled with care and must be prevented from being seen or heard by unauthorized people, while at the same time the availability of data must be ensured.
In order to be able to fulfil our duties correctly, we need to handle all information and information systems with the greatest possible care. In addition, UMCG patients, clients and partners also expect their details to be in safe hands with us, and needless to say, we have to comply with legislation in the field of information security.

Allowance assessment form
You will receive an allowance assessment form two months after the start of your employment. The UMCG uses the possibility offered to employers by the government to apply for allowances and premiums for staff members with an illness, disability or limitation, or who need special facilities. The governments aim is to increase labour market participation with this measure, and the UMCG is happy to do its bit. More information can be found in the letter accompanying the form.
