This study demonstrates the socioeconomic patterned COVID-19 status during the first wave, as people of low socioeconomic status were less likely to self-report COVID-19 and also to be tested for COVID-19. As previous studies on COVID-19 are mainly limited to clinical settings, this paper provides fresh evidence in a general population.
