A major threat to healthy ageing is the development of cardiovascular disease. A combination of factors, including lifestyle, genetic, and initiated treatments all have an effect on the development and progression of cardiovascular disease. Many factors also affect perceived quality of life. The diagnostic and treatment procedures and care provided are complex. It can result in a satisfied patient, but this might not always be the case. The aim of CardioLines is to study potential factors related to success or failure of diagnosis and treatment both from a patient as well as from a medical perspective.
