The UMCG will research general practitioners care during the COVID-19 pandemic to understand the consequences better and, if possible, to improve general practitioners care. The researchers will use data from general practice centres and conduct interviews with patients and general practitioners. Answers to questionnaires will also be used to get an overview of the experiences of both health care professionals and patients.
A ZonMW grant of €500.000 has been awarded to the research project, which is a collaboration with Nivel (Netherlands Institute for Health Services Research), Radboudumc and Maastricht UMC+. In the research projects UMCG colleagues from different departments will work together. DASH is one of the departments involved in the project, just like General Practice and Epidemiology.
