Colleagues are invited to take part in the 20st International Congress of IRIST, the International Research Group in Immuno-Scintigraphy and Therapy. The meeting will be held in the city of Groningen in the North-East of The Netherlands. Although the city is already 900 years old, it is young and dynamic, due to the presence of different institutions for higher education, including a university dating back to 1614. The meeting itself will take place in the University Medical Center, the largest of its kind in The Netherlands.
Abstracts and invited lectures will be presented in the field of immunoscintigraphy and nuclear medicine therapy. Every IRIST member is invited to participate and to contribute to our growing Society.
Abstracts will be published in the official journal of the Society, the Quarterly Journal of Nuclear Medicine (QJNM). Travel grants will be awarded to the best abstracts submitted.

Abstracts
Instructions for Submission:
- Abstracts are invited for oral or poster presentation at IRIST 2010 in Groningen, The Netherlands.
- Submission will be selected for the following categories: oral presentation for Plenary Sessions and Poster Session.
- Participant's abstract should be less than 300 words, including figures preferably as email or written as a Word document in compliance with the following rules: use 10 point Arial font, left aligned and right justified, single spacing. All margins (left and right) must be set to 2,5 cm. The abstract should contain abstract title (in bold and in capitals), Authors name (in bold), affiliation, City, State, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Conclusions.
- All abstracts should be submitted electronically to abstracts@irist.umcg.nl. Submission starts on November 1st, 2009. The deadline for abstract submission is February 15th, 2010.
- Abstracts are subject to acceptance by the International Scientific Committee which will conduct blinded marking of all abstracts except invited papers.
- Final program selection will be made by the Chairman, the Vice-Chairman and Secretary of the IRIST, in collaboration with the Local Organizing Committee. Abstract submission will be opened in November 2009.

* Concessions are available to all scientists and Medically Qualified physicians if they are in training OR have a gross annual income of less than 15,000 Euros. Some documentary evidence form Head of department/Hospital/Home Institute is required and must be sent to or faxed to IRIST secretariat (irist@uniroma1.it).
