There are separate committees for the VENI, VIDI and VICI grants. More information about these grants themselves can be found in the UMCG grant finder and at the NWO site.
The goal of the Vernieuwingsimpuls Committees is to optimize the quality of the proposals that are send in to NWO in cooperation with the proposers themselves.
The tasks of the committees are:
- Judging the quality of the proposals
- Advising and coaching the candidate in the writing process
- Advising the Dean in case an institutional guarantee is needed for a certain candidate
- Advising the Research Office and the Dean for research policy concerning the Verniewingsimpuls program
